Marshall Cooper

Saxophone & Flute

After 4 active years in the Piner High Jazz and Concert Bands as a lead alto, Marshall has sustained his music education and professional experience.  He received 7 years of private instruction under Ari Camarota with classical and jazz training, as well as periodic training with Dale Wolford.  Marshall volunteered as a saxophone tutor at Comstock Middle School, taught saxophone and clarinet for two years at Roseland Elementary School, and saxophone, clarinet and flute at Cinnabar Elementary School.  Currently he is an assistant for Bennett Friedman, Music Department Chairman at Santa Rosa Junior College.

French Horn - Trumpet

Erin is a Sonoma county native. She is returning to the area after the completion of her Bachelors in Music Performance at CSU Sacramento where she studied with Pete Nowlen.  Her other teachers include Jennifer Marsh and Chris Breeden.  Ms. Yardley has made appearances at the Hot Springs Music Festival and The Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in New Hampshire.

Daniel Scoggins

Trumpet

Daniel currently plays third in the Jazz Band and Lead in the Concert Band, under Meryl Wamhoff at Santa Rosa Junior College.  During the summer of 2004 he played in the Sound of America National Honor Band which toured Europe, as well as playing in both Concert and Jazz Bands all 4 years of High School where he performed as a lead the last two years and during his senior year he sang at Carnegie Hall, NYC with the school choir and show choir. Daniel has been under the private instruction of Pete Estabrook of Sonoma State University for the past five years.
